Autism Provision Audit

To ensure that you offer the best service for people with autism it is highly beneficial to quality assure your provision on a regular basis through a fresh pair of eyes.

An audit of provision covers the following areas:

  • Environmental audit -  Considering the use of visual support and structure in the environment alongside any considerations for sensory processing issues.
  • Support for Communication - Considering the use of augmentative communication systems, use of language and understanding of the needs of those with autism.
  • Staff knowledge - Considering how well staff understand how to accommodate and adapt for the needs of those with autism in your setting.
  • Teaching/Activities - Considering if teaching and learning in educational settings or activities provided in care settings are appropriately adapted to meet the needs of those with autism.

Following an audit, services will be provided with a comprehensive report detailing findings alongside any recommendations/suggestions for support.

Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
